Representatives from seven countries – China, Turkey, Austria, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan – have agreed to establish the International Association “Eurasian Transport Route,” with its headquarters to be located in Baku.
This initiative opens up new opportunities for expanding transport networks between China and Europe through Central Asia and the Caucasus. The association plans to develop a unified tariff policy and enhance infrastructure along the Middle Corridor, which will improve transportation efficiency and reduce delivery times.
The Transcaspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor, includes key routes such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which is already operational.
At LOADSTAR, we support this initiative and are pleased to see the strengthening of transport links between the East and West.
